Clement, Red Sox set sights on sweep

The Red Sox have a chance to sweep their second straight homestand on Sunday when they send Matt Clement (11-3) to the mound against White Sox right-hander Orlando Hernandez (8-5).

The Red Sox have captured the first two meetings of the weekend series and have clinched the season series against the team with baseball's best record. Saturday's 7-4 win gave Boston four wins in six meetings between the teams this season.

Boston is currently on a 13-game home winning streak, surpassed in team history only by the 1988 club that won a Major League-record 24 straight at Fenway. Saturday's win came on the 17th anniversary of the final win of that memorable run.

The six-game overall winning streak is also its second longest this season.

"We'll take good games anywhere. We'll take wins anywhere. The atmosphere here, you see the fans. It makes it so much easier to not take a game off, but every game you show up here is an event.
