BOSTON -- Just because the Red Sox are on the road the majority of July doesn't mean a little baseball can't be played at Fenway Park while they are gone.
The fifth annual Futures at Fenway Minor League doubleheader presented by Xfinity will be played July 10 at Fenway Park.
In the first game of the doubleheader at 12:05 p.m. ET, the Lowell Spinners will face off against the Jamestown Jammers. In the second game, the Salem Red Sox will make their Futures at Fenway debut by battling the Potomac Nationals.
Families attending the event will have the chance to participate in activities such as a moon bounce, carnival games, a balloon artist and face painters. At the conclusion, kids will be invited to come down to the field and participate in a brief game of catch. Additionally, youngsters will be able to get autographs from the players.
Tickets are available for fans to sit in ballpark locations such as the Green Monster Seats, on the Right Field Roof Deck, in the Dugout Seats and EMC Club and State Street Pavilion.
Prices range from $5 to $30 and may be purchased through www.redsox.com or by calling (877) REDSOX-9.
