Schilling (11-3, 3.42) looks to join Beckett and Toronto's Roy Halladay as 12-game winners in the American League. Texas will counter with lefty John Rheinecker (4-4, 4.82).
The Red Sox gained a game on the Yankees on Wednesday, increasing their first-place lead to 1 1/2 games over New York as a result of Seattle's win in the Bronx on Wednesday.
