Twins at the plate: Michael Cuddyer delivered his first homer of the spring as he belted a solo home run in the fourth inning. Jason Bartlett recorded a hit, a walk and plated on an error.

Red Sox at the plate: Coco Crisp delivered a two-run single in the fourth, part of a five-run inning for Boston. Julio Lugo went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored.

Twins on the mound: Johan Santana looked a bit rusty at the start of his outing, as he walked three out of his first four batters. Santana gave up one run on three hits while striking out two in two innings. Scott Baker pitched two innings and gave up five runs on six hits, all in the first of his two innings. Joe Nathan pitched a scoreless inning, walking one and striking out one.

Red Sox on the mound: Curt Schilling pitched 3 1/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits with a walk and a strikeout. Javier Lopez threw 1 2/3 innings, giving up just one hit and striking out one.

Grapefruit League records: Twins 0-4-1; Red Sox 1-3-1.

Up next: The Twins will divide their squad Monday for a Grapefruit League contest against the Devil Rays in St. Petersburg and a "B" game vs. the Red Sox at home. Carlos Silva will get the start against the Devil Rays while Sidney Ponson sees his first appearance on the mound in the "B" game. The Red Sox will host the Dodgers in a contest at City of Palms Park at 1:05 p.m. ET on Monday with Josh Beckett as the starter. Jon Lester will make his return to the mound as the starter in the "B" game vs. the Twins.
