Yankees at the plate: Hideki Matsui went 2-for-4 and scored a run. Chris Basak went 2-for-4 with a triple.

Red Sox at the plate: J.D. Drew hit his first home run of the spring to center field off Darrell Rasner in the sixth inning. Kevin Youkilis and Mike Lowell both went 2-for-3. Doug Mirabelli had two RBIs.

Yankees on the mound: In his second Grapefruit League start -- after being excused for personal reasons from his scheduled start Friday against the Devil Rays -- Carl Pavano went three innings, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk, striking out two. Ross Ohlendorf was charged with the loss, allowing three runs on one hit and one walk in one inning.

Red Sox on the mound: Tim Wakefield went four innings, allowing four runs on eight hits. He had one strikeout and did not walk a batter. Manny Delcarmen picked up the win, his first of the spring. Craig Hansen got the save, his first of the spring.

Grapefruit League records: Yankees, 8-3; Red Sox, 7-6-1.

Up next: The Sox head to Dunedin, Fla., on Tuesday to face the Blue Jays 1:05 p.m. ET. Kyle Snyder is scheduled to start, followed by Bryan Corey. The Yankees host the Reds at Legends Field at 7:15 p.m., with Mike Mussina facing Aaron Harang.
