Dodgers on the mound:
Derek Lowe went two-plus innings, yielding five runs on six hits and two walks, striking out one. Greg Jones followed him, going one inning, striking out one. Eduardo Sierra came on to get the final three outs and a save.
Red Sox on the mound:
Tim Wakefield went three scoreless innings, giving up one hit and two walks, with three strikeouts. Mike Timlin went one inning, giving up a run on two hits. Hunter Jones gave up May's game-tying shot, yielding four runs on one hit. Lee Gronkiewicz fared little better, allowing a walk and three hits, including Repko's grand slam.

The Red Sox have split-squad games on Friday. Julian Tavarez will start in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., against the Orioles, and will be followed to the mound by Kyle Snyder and Dan Kolb. Clay Buchholz will start against the Twins at City of Palms, and is scheduled to be followed by Jonathan Papelbon and Hideki Okajima. Both games will start at 1:05 p.m. ET.
The Dodgers host the Cardinals on Friday in Vero Beach, Fla. Chad Billingsley is expected to start for Los Angeles, with Joel Pineiro starting for St. Louis. Game time is 1:05 p.m. ET.
