BOSTON -- After a 12-inning game on Sunday -- the final seven of which were worked by the bullpen -- Red Sox manager Terry Francona was confident that all of his relievers would be available for Monday night's Game 4 of the American League Division Series against the Angels.

Of course, the most important name on that list is All-Star closer Jonathan Papelbon, who worked two innings in Game 2 and two more in Game 3.

"I would say we'd have everybody," Francona said. "I'm not going to run Pap out there for two innings. I reserve the right if somebody goes out there and says they're stiff, but I don't think that. I think we're going to be OK."

Papelbon threw 31 pitches in Game 3, which was actually two less than Angels closer Francisco Rodriguez threw in his one inning of work.

"It's October 6 or whatever, you know," Francona said. "They understand what we're playing for. I'm sure the Angels do, too. They're in the same boat."

Manny Delcarmen went 1 2/3 innings in Game 3 after not working in the first two games.

"I thought Manny Delcarmen was as good as I've seen in a while," Francona said. "He threw some changeups that were unhittable coming off a 97-mph fastball, and he located pretty well. That was exciting."

Lefty Hideki Okajima turned in one scoreless inning. Justin Masterson, who has pitched every game in the series, went 1 1/3. Javy Lopez pitched one inning and took the loss.

The Red Sox also have starters Paul Byrd and Tim Wakefield available as relievers, as neither veteran was in the rotation for this round.
