He was 88 years old.
The Gouldtown, N.J., native was inducted in the New Jersey Hall of Fame and the South Jersey Hall of Fame in 2001 and was named one of Cumberland County's "People of the Century" in 1999.
According to the South Jersey Times, the right-hander was 19-4 in two seasons with the Stars.
Gould was honored in Philadelphia each April, along with other former Philadelphia Stars players, on Jackie Robinson Day. Gould also spent time in the U.S. Army, enlisting in 1950. He was honorably discharged in 1952 during the Korean War.
Gould is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gwendolyn, and his three children -- Valerie A. Gould, Harold L. Gould Jr. and Lorena E. Gould.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday at the Union Baptist Temple Church in Bridgeton, N.J. A wreath laying ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Philadelphia Stars Memorial Park.
