BOSTON -- Christmas at Fenway is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and it's also part of a brand-new Red Sox holiday plan. The team is instituting a week-long celebration called Red Sox Holiday Fest.
The 10th annual Christmas at Fenway is scheduled for Dec. 1, with scheduled appearances from players past and present. There will be autograph signings and roundtable discussions, plus giveaways like Opening Day tickets and Green Monster Seats at a Yankees game.
As part of the week-long Holiday Fest, players such as Andrew Bailey, Craig Breslow, Chris Carpenter, Pedro Ciriaco, Ivan De Jesus, Ryan Kalish, Ryan Lavarnway, Mark Melancon and Jarrod Saltalamacchia are slated to help bring cheer across all six New England states.
Online registration for the chance to attend Christmas at Fenway starts Thursday at noon on redsox.com and ends at noon on Nov. 26.
Individual tickets to select home games are also scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. on Dec. 1 on redsox.com. They will also be available by phone, or for those selected to attend the event at Fenway. Sox Pax, each of which includes four games and up to four tickets per game, go on sale that day as well.
