Cherington, Farrell to lead Town Hall Meeting

BOSTON, MA – Red Sox General Manager Ben Cherington and new Manager John Farrell will lead a “Town Hall Meeting” in Providence, Rhode Island, this Thursday, January 17, from 7-8:30 p.m.  NESN will be on hand to record the event, which will premiere this Saturday at 11 p.m. following the network’s coverage of the Boston Bruins’ season opener.

NESN’s coverage will feature Tom Caron as host, with reporters Adam Pellerin and Jamie Erdahl facilitating questions from the audience.  The discussion takes place at La Salle Academy, alma mater of the late Red Sox General Manager Lou Gorman.

Cherington and Farrell will take questions from a group of more than 300 pre-registered fans that includes season ticket holders from Rhode Island and members of the La Salle community.  In addition, fans at home can participate by submitting questions via Twitter before the event, using the hashtag #RedSoxTownHall.
