FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Lefty Felix Doubront admits that in his Grapefruit League debut he was thinking more about his previously ailing shoulder than his pitches. But as he took the mound for his second start on Saturday night, Doubront was fully confident in his health and just focused on pitching.
He struck out five Orioles over three innings, though he also gave up four hits and two runs.
"I felt good," Doubront said. "I felt better than the last one before. I'm not too far from being completely 100 percent."
Doubront had weakness in his shoulder at the start of camp, which put him on a delayed schedule. But he is over that now.
"Like today, my focus was on the game and I just pitched," Doubront said. "That was my goal for today. I'm happy."
