CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Stephen Drew's concussion symptoms are not completely gone, but when they occur, they are "minimal," said Red Sox manager John Farrell.

The shortstop continues to ramp back up toward a return to action, though the club is unlikely to set a timetable until the residual effects of the concussion -- sustained March 7 -- are completely gone.

"Stephen will have a full workout this morning, much like he did [Saturday]," Farrell said. "He'll hit on the field. He'll take his ground balls. We'll still monitor day to day and see if we're closer to him getting back on the field with some kind of game reps hopefully soon."

Best-case scenario?

"It would be ideal if we could get him into some Minor League games before camp breaks," Farrell said. "We'll see how he comes out of these next two days."
