"Monster Sled" Now Available to Families During Citi Frozen Fenway

Fenway Sports Management today announced dates and times the "Monster Sled" will be available to families and individuals during Citi Frozen Fenway 2014, a two week series of hockey, skating, and sledding events running from December 28 through January 13 at Fenway Park.

The "Monster Sled," a 20-foot high sledding and tubing ramp set in the shadow of the left field wall, will be available for hourly rentals to the public during the below dates and times. Tickets are $25 per person and available on redsox.com/monstersled. Check the site periodically as additional sledding times may become available.

Sleds and tubes will be provided free of charge (patrons cannot bring their own). Children under the age of five must be accompanied by an adult on the sled, and those under the age of 12 are asked to wear a helmet (patrons are asked to bring their own helmets). All patrons skating or sledding will be asked to sign a waiver. A rendering of the "Monster Sled" is attached for reference.

Those interested in unlimited sledding can purchase tickets to "New Year's Eve at Fenway Park," an ice skating and sledding event for families and children from 5-10 p.m. on December 31. Tickets are available at redsox.com/newyears at $40 per person.
