DETROIT -- In the sixth inning of Saturday night's game against the Tigers, Red Sox manager John Farrell successfully challenged the ruling on the field of a groundout to shortstop by second baseman Dustin Pedroia.
Pedroia narrowly beat out the throw by Detroit shortstop Eugenio Suarez on the review, which took one minute and 36 seconds.
Pedroia would come around to score on a two-out single by Stephen Drew, cutting Detroit's lead to 5-3.
